Dawsons of Sheffield

Post by Satt2006 »

Hallo there, anyone knows anything about a certain rodmaker named G.W. Dawson of Sheffield (I have a 10'6'' through built cane rod).
Thank you in advance.

I visit their shop on Holme Lane,Hillsborough,Sheffield at least once a week.Rumour has it that they first made Peter Stone "Ledgerstrikes" but they could not keep up demand.

Nice to hear that they are still in business. I have one of their 'River Don Specials' The finest gudgeon rod a man could ever wish for.
