I noted that too, I don't use anything else since being gifted a pair recently, they are a wonder to behold and tough as old boots!!

Wonderful footage by the way, really enjoyed it and to see 'Chilli' enthuse about simple methods and cane rods was delightful :Hat:

While I was watching them fishing this river Stour I thought of the river in the stories in "How To Fish.
Is it the same river?

Yes, I believe it is. The pal who Chris bumps in to on the river in the book is Nigel Hudson, ie Fennel. And Jason is indeed the bailiff for that stretch.
