there's a nice pub at Grove Ferry too... plenty of parking as well... I'd be up for another go down there.. :Thumb: :Hat:

The first good frosts will see the roach shoaled at plucks, with the perch and pike not far behind!
When it looks right, I will post some dates up chaps.....

Oooooh now that does look very nice, I'd definitely be interested in a meet up on the stour, haven't fished it for a while, if you've already had a meet up I'd also be interested in the next one in the new season :Thumb:

Gonna hopefully be fishing the stour quite a bit throughout the new season :Ok:

Did all my youth fishing around and about Canterbury. Never saw a barbel and only saw a chub (actually a shoal of, once) this was fifty years ago mind. The lower, slower stretches, once past the Vauxell lake were much more productive. Plucks Gutter et all.

Last day of the season at plucks gutter saw a dozen fat Perch caught, always a good day when the worms run out before the fish! Roll on June! Image
