Jason White Floats

Post by Mark »

Some of you may recall that last month I purchased a lovely Allcocks Lucky Strike rod from Jason White. Well Jason became ill during the rods refurbishment and I explained to him that it wasn't a problem and to finish the rod when he was feeling better. The rod finally arrived a week later than originally planned but as I said to Jason that was not a problem.

Today in the post I received these eight floats made by Jason along with a lovely hand written letter thanking me for my patience.

What a lovely gesture I thought, Jason will not see this post as he doesn't own a computer.

Heart warming in the tes in which we live. Well done Jason! (Not that you'll see this)
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Very nice floats
Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish

"Afternoon chaps", :hat:

truly a Gentleman!
I'm sure that they will always be much more to you, than just another float Mark.

They sure will, I'm going to try one of them out on a little farm pool tomorrow with the Lucky Strike after crucians.

Jason is absolutely top class I have purchased several rods from him and a net went I went to his workshop I could not believe how many rods he has. If anybody is looking for a particular rod they could no better than starting with him his prices are always realistic and he will not rip you off.
I had the pleasure of waggling a prototype Barbel rod he is building from scratch which i believe could easily become a classic in the next few years.

What a lovely gesture, what a decent chap he seems to be.

That's what I like about the fishing world you can run into some really nice people at times.

God never did make a more calm, quiet, innocent recreation than angling.

Simply splendid.
