On an online auction along with another, hopefully most of us don’t need a walking stick but if you want something elegant this could be it ! I prefer the other one myself though.

Excellent! How I wish I could post pictures - don't ask! I have a crook (or perhaps more correctly a "cromach" stick?) made for me by the late, great Jim Weir of Over Garrel. It's adorned with a delightful brown trout crafted from horn from his own flock. He gifted it to me after I helped him over lambing time, as neighbours did. A celebrity 'guest' I took fishing on the Naver refused to believe it was made of natural horn, when wet it does look alive!
