Just for those who are still wondering, this information comes from Len Arbery, a life long friend of Bob's and he explains how to pronounce Bobs surname.

"The way to pronounce Bob Buteux's surname is Ber-two; as in Londoners' pronunciation of 4X2 timber, ie. "four 'ber' two!".

I first came across him through his book fishing with the famous it was a great read ive re read a few times and love his storys of fishing trips using his old motorbike as said before a angling legend I think we should try get him to do an interview

Bob is usually at the various National carp shows with his second hand books. A wonderful chap to talk to.
