Another one ticked off the wish list UPDATED

Post by AllRounder »

An anglers leather tackle compendium or Roach tackle case has for sometime been on my “must have” radar ever since stumbling across a wonderful illustration in The Trent Otters PRACTICAL FISHING pages. I have seen a couple to be fair but both were in rather poor condition.

Yesterday I finally got my hands on one! Dark green leather with Burgundy Leather interior and a very nice Rosewood float winder with two sliding lids, four compartments and bone spacers - Christmas had definitely come early :huray:

Better than I could have hoped for.

I’ve added the floats and a few bits and pieces from my own collection. What I really need now are a couple of really old disgorgers to fill those loops.

The searching continues...

Don't forget the coconut shell - any good garden/bird food centre will have one!

It really is quite lovely!

That's a bit special, never seen one before. Well done on acquiring such a fine item. :Hat:

That's a bit special, never see a case like that before. You must be really chuffed to have sourced this special Christmas present.

Thanks

That's cracking! You wouldn't need to carry much more if you were float fishing. Very minimalist!
