Hi all

Most of us will have seen this dvd or the original tv series
I was wondering why they didn't do a follow up. Any ideas chaps?

Because it took 4 or 5 years to make and Chris Yates said he would not do another one as it took too much of his time.

I don't think I'd want them too now. Hugh is a great film maker, but a lot of elements came together at the right time with AP for A. Caught in time and catching the impossible are both wonderful program's but don't have the feel (in my opinion) of AP for A. It's one of my desert island DVDs, that and Led Zeppelin at the O2.

Some things should be made viewed and left alone. Would you want to see a sequel to the original Italian Job? I certainly wouldn't, it is a brilliant film. A sequel would ruin it, just like a sequel to APFA would be outrageous

Irrespective of out of scene happenings APFA will be difficult to better, absolutely brilliant - however I thought Led Zep were terribly let down at 02 by Plant whose voice has had it and was quite embarrassing to watch - this from a Zep fan of the 60's who has all their albums on vinyl.

I think it set the standard. Someone out there has the next classic within them.
