A Few More:
And Radwell in it's winter colours.
And carrying a bit of extra water here:
Compared to normal summer levels.
And the lovley Bromham Mill. Unusual for the Gt Ouse in that it's rather boulder strewn down stream of the bridge. upstream is a syndicated section: home of some big carp and and barbel.
Some barbel spawning: picture taken off Bromham bridge. Picture taken with my dog'n'bone so appologies about the quality.
And the home of my best barbel. Tight, and pretty hairy when they head straight for the tree roots.

Lovely photos there

Loving the last one....but they are all great, especially the spot you had your best barbel, I'd say it looks like the perfect barbel lair.

Thanks chaps. I've only just realised but the shadow of the weigh sling in my net (last picture) looks like I've gone all Eastern European and decided to take one for the pot.

Brilliant pictures haydn, just the sort that make you want to go fishing.

Great pictures Haydn, I fish the great Ouse around Godmanchester and its tough old water.
