It's with regret that I have decided not to continue with The Norfolk Float Company.

I have decided to offer my materials etc for sale here before advertising on the dreaded eBay.

Materials include -
1000 + drilled and shaped balsa bodies, Avon, Bobber and Ducker styles. In all commonly used sizes from 1"x 1/4" upto 3 1/2" x 3/4" and some larger.

500+ cork bodies again drilled and shaped in Avon and Bobber styles, from 1" x 3/8" upto 3"x 3/4", 60-70 bobber bodies of approx 1" x 1 1/4", along with a number of drilled straight lengths upto approx 3".

Approx 1000 wire eyes.

100 - 200 worth of bamboo, soft wood dowel and wire for stems.

Approx 100 quills. Goose, Peacock, Crow and Phesant + a few others.

Approx 500 lengths of Sakandas reed.

Lots of thread, nylons, silk and waxed fly tying in various colours.

Lots of paints - tip colours, body paints and wood dye. Some are unopened others have been used and seemed fine when packed away in September 2012.
Varnishes (have been opened), 2 pack finishing, brushes, ink pens, scalpels, filler and abrasive papers.
Small quantity of balsa dowel.

I have a 1950s wooden multi draw cabinet which contains the most commonly used bodies.
Unused wood float box.
3 brand new aluminium framed float cases.
Brand new faux leather float case.

If anyone's interested in continuing the company the domain name and website and some stationary can also be made available.

I would prefer to sell as a whole.

Any interested parties can PM or send an email to abetts@live.co.uk

Regards,
Andy.

I'll say again, thank you all for the kind comments.
You lot are real gentlemen, I've browsed forums for years and have to say TFF is the only place I've ever posted. No egos, no trouble makers just generous advice and respect for one another.
Andy.
