CHAPMAN SHELFORD

A couple of picture of my Chapman Shelford that i had refurbished by Jim Arnold who only lives a few miles from me, he has done a fantastic job, the rod stripped back new set of line guide from Chapmans were whipped on and varnished, she now looks as good as new.

Several of The VFC's landing nets and handles were converted from old rods by a Jim Arnold, who I always assumed was a local (i.e. a Norfolkman). Has he moved, was I mistaken, or are there two Jim Arnolds into vintage tackle restoration? :think:

HI GUYS.
the jim arnold who did my rod live in south Devon near newton abbot, but is also know for his landing net handle, which i have two of plus he makes a very nice bamboo float safe/tube.
