Hi all, :hat:
I've got two versions that I still occasionally use for beach fishing or the even rarer legering occasions.
One is the more modern (? :hahaha: ) version with the green vinyl covering (same as the photo) and the other is a version with a shaped back, shoulder straps (to be worn rucksack style), a large keepnet pocket and two capacious zipped side pockets. I may be wrong... but I seem to recall this was called "The Rover". Basically a good design for those days but still a back breaker! (It took me a few more years to realise that the bigger the bag/box, the more you struggle! :hahaha: )
I bought this particular one back in the mid seventies and used it for my club match fishing days. It had a nice drain built into the back (front?) keepnet pocket which used to dribble all down my back on the long plod across the fields, back to the coach!
I wonder why nobody wanted to sit next to me on the journey home?
