I’ve been using this stuff for a few years now. It’s the material I use for the roach bunnies ( page 5 here ) and the sparkle nymphs I’ve been tying of late.
In case anyone is interested, google “Hends products long chenille”.

I use the grizzle white and black for my pike flies and sparkle nymphs, but I also seen a grey black on another site.
I’ve tried tying the sparkle nymphs with hare fur, but it doesn’t have anywhere near the same effect.
It is sold in lengths of around 900mm, so good for the money :Hat:

Looks like great material for large flies. I will have to see if anything like that is sold in my neck of the woods. I'm sure it is.

I also use it for pike flies, certainly gets them at 'em. Also great for smaller perch flies. Last year I tied a bright orange one with a curly tail and caught a couple of perch just testing the thing in the water by the side of my boat without even casting it.

It’s great for roach bunnies and bulking up the head and bodies of bigger predator flies.
