Avondale?

I'm interested in an Aspindale rod 11' three piece bottom two whole cane top built cane. It definitely has Avondale written spirally on the butt and what looks like 811 above. Now all the information on here about Avondales refer to a 10' 6" hollow built match rod so 'm a little puzzled?
