Popped in the little shop yesterday as it's only 8 miles away in Ashbourne Derbyshire.

Stephen makes his own can rods - Rod Building for Amateur 1st Ed sits on one shelf next to a Aerial Match and loads of cane rods. Link under the image.

Not been in there for a long time, I bought my S. Woolley Walker style landing net and handle from there back in 1998. It is a lovely little place.

It’s unmissable if you’re in the area, a proper gem.

There are a few references to Stephen’s work and making within the forum.

Although very missable regarding the location……it’s tucked away from the centre of Ashbourne. You can park right next to the shop however which is great because in season Ashbourne can be a ‘mare.’
