Deer hair Welsh partridge (dry tutorial)

Post by Ian »

This is both a river and loch dry fly that’s really fun to tie. Ive tied this on a size 12 medium hook, but it can be tied smaller if one prefers.

Ian, am I missing something? Where did the black hackle go? Does the black hackle go behind the partridge or is it mixed in with it?

Ok, I see it now. Tell me what hook is that, please. That style is impossible for me to find and I want / need some.
