I would, I would......but can one have too many early-ish Japanese reels?!
Many of them seem to be re-badged other makes: e.g. Roddy, Olympic etc., etc.
This one bears more than a passing resemblance to one of my Roddys.
I cannot for the life of me remember. at this time, what was the Roddy brand's "parentage".
Generally, they are well built and long-lasting. Lots of signs of copying Eu and US reels.
With a sigh, I will pass on this one, Malcolm. Enough is enough!

Evening, i concur...solid reels, and worm gear if I remember correctly. Will look good on a glass rod. Regards Cat

In the 80's I had the 2210 Mkll's.Superb reels with alloy push-button spools.

I've owned a couple of that model that they badged "Noris" for Shakespeare. Good reels. Very solid.
