I recently acquired an FT Williams the "Forcarp" rod which needs a full refurb.
It has been stripped of rings so I'd be grateful if anyone could provide photos of their rod for reference.
Many thanks in anticipation :Hat:

Hi Jeremy, here is an image of my FT Forcarp showing all those lovely colours. It also has the green reel bands and butt cap. If you would like the ring spacings I will dig out a tape measure.

Best
Pete

Thanks Pete, that's helpful. My rod is an earlier version which predateds the blue/yellow label.
I imagine the rings would have been similar though.
The cane is stained where the rings were so I can see how to space them. :Hat:

Err the badge is green/yellow lol, do the different colours indicate different ages. I have two Dorsets with a gold diagonal band, do these predate the coloured labels ?

I've only seen blue and yellow labels on what I believe to be the later rods:

This is the style of the earlier rods as I understand it. :Hat:

No need. In the end, all rods are for gudgeon.

Well said! Talking of which, I'll have to have an excursion to the Dordogne river soon and see if I can catch a few.
