Creel Strap...

Post by The Sweetcorn Kid »

My creel strap is part leather and part material. The leather part is badly cracked at the holes and one snapped on me recently. I have repaired it but wonder how long it will be before another goes and the creel plummets to the ground. Any idea where I can get a replacement strap?

May I recommend Emily at Cirencester Saddlery. She produced some excellent straps for me. I discussed the deal over the 'phone, sent her a cut-out paper template and she sent it back at cost postage. I was expecting it to be a fortune (as she's a Master Saddler) but it was as cheap as chips really. The quality is outstanding - proper, thick hide leather and beautifully finished.

I'm sure if you sent the canvas section she would stictch it all together for you.

Might be able to make a baccy pouch too.......

They have a website and her number is 01285 88 54 54
