A wee question... a chap I know is looking for a book by Peter Stone, he says it is called "Roach Fishing" but I cannot find anything of that title by him... any clues chaps...?

As far as I am aware Peter Stone did not write a single species book on roach fishing, chub, barbel yes.

Another Peter Stone book 'Ledgering',has some very interesting observations about river fishing and how line movement is translated at the bobbin.

In Peter Stone's Gravel Pit Angling, chapter 6 has the title `Roach'. Maybe he was thinking of that.

I think there's a chapter on roach in his book about the Thames. Not sure though without checking and I'm miles away from home!
