Books for Christmas
Im sure I’m not the only one to get some reading material for Christmas but thought I’d share the assortment I received this year.
No doubt they’re known to everyone on this forum, but nevertheless, they’re very welcome additions to the Piscatorial bookcase.

It's not just about the fish, if waters are calm or rough, even if the net stays dry, just being there's enough.

Re: Books for Christmas
A recent visit to the Coventry Motor Museum began with a light lunch in the Waterstones Cafe. A quick browse of the nature section and a title was added to my Christmas wish list. The Otters Tale by Simon Cooper. Began reading it last night, will report back when I've delved deeper.

Nice one Catfish.017
I read Life of a Chalkstream by Simon Cooper quite a few years ago.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Guess I’ll add The Otter’s Tale to the future book list.

Not really fishing is a superb compendium of work.
Really very good indeed.
Really very good indeed.

Also think I read in a recent Trout & Salmon that author Denise Ashton is looking to compile a ‘volume 2’.

Dear All
Wood Pool by BB has landed up in Mole paws awaiting to be consumed when the Festering Season comes to an end and normal service is resumed.
Looking forward to this one as it seems, so far, to be a very personal work. The book is from the Medlar stable and completes all of the fishing works by BB.
Not bad for twenty odd pounds as the original work can change hands for silly money.....ah the joys of collecting.
As ever,....
