The Biggest Fish of All

Post by Mark »

I have been after a copy of this book for a while now and have managed to pick up a mint copy.

Some nice winter reading to look forward to.

where you find only elder trees, nettles and dreams. (BB - Denys Watkins-Pitchford).

Something about catching small perch as kids which make large perch look truly massive

The cover alone is enough to make you want the book.
Wonderful drawing / artwork.
There’s nothing quite like holding a book you’ve been after for a long time, especially in mint condition !
Bravo Mark.
It's not just about the fish, if waters are calm or rough, even if the net stays dry, just being there's enough.

I dint have a copy but I have to say that ever since I first saw it I’ve thought that one of the finest angling book covers I’ve seen.

A top drawer book in every respect. When I first saw the skillful typography on the cover I had a feeling it wouldn't disappoint. Mastery design is matched by superb content, that's been well structured and is truly inspiring. I don't think Harper has ever done a bad title (quite the opposite, in fact), which may explain why the new tench book 'Red Eye' is selling well without much shouting. Wish I'd bought another copy when it came out!
