Two excellent fish to be caught on my Chapmans 500 De-luxe. I've not been out as much as I'd like to this season, but on my first session, which was only a mere 5 weeks ago, I had a special fish, then three weeks later on a different stretch I had another which was just as good. Two over 7lbs and so early on I may get that hatrick... If only!

Last season I lost some lumps. No fault from the tackle or rods used, just big strong chub that had the better of me in really snaggy swims. Sometimes with those bigger chub you just have accept defeat and try again.

Without doubt there would have been an awful lot of hard work and patience that went into those two captures. Very well done and certainly well deserved.
