YET ANOTHER DORSET

I have just completed a re build on an FT Williams Dorset for chum who wanted a barbel rod. It started life as a 12 ft version but was very unbalanced so it needed surgery.
The sections were reduced in length to finish up at 11ft when assembled and the handle extended to improve the balance. Lined butt and tip rings were whipped on together with new intermediate bridge rings. Originally the rod had high bells rings.
Fantastic quality cane on these rods, I've done a few FT Williams rods now and have always been impressed with the quality of the cane. Some pictutes follow which I hope may brighten a misersble grey drizzly day.....at least that's what its like in deepest darkest Derbyshire.
