I want to make a rack for hanging my rods on whilst they are in the rod bag or a rod stand, any photos of your own would be welcomed so I can get some ideas what to make. :thumb:

I've made a few of those now....£17 in Argos.

But you do need a 'hole-cutter' for your drill.



edit: Argos are no longer listing the bookshelf I used :cry:

I tried the top picture one and it just ripped the wood to bits I was thinking of the second picture type unless I just had a dodgy bit

A simpler alternative to a custom rack would be to fix a length of picture rail to the wall. My house was built when high ceilings and picture rails were the norm, so I hang my rods from a picture rail using picture hooks.
