Ever do this when you're alone at home??

Post by Buller »

Last night my wife was out at book club and my two kids were fast asleep. I poured myself a wee dram and then decided to break out some kit - just to doodle over, you know?! Well it wasn't long before I got the camera out (probably had something to do with the second not-so-wee dram)! Anyway, here's a little picture of some of my favourite fishing kit - hope it makes your evening!

My hideaway is room 5......

Small fridge freezer for bait (and the occasional beer) and a couple of fish on the wall (not welcome in the house proper).
The larger fish was made from papier mache by an art teacher at a school I taught at in NZ and the chub is made from metal offcuts by a friend's son.

I try not to spend too long down there though, as the radon levels are quite high!

Maybe I'm a bit weird but I don't get my tackle out and fiddle with it when no-one else is at home! :o

yes, she goes out and the kids are in bed then some of the collection comes out and different rod reel combinations are tried before she gets home, trouble is I'm running out of floor and now have to do it make by make

I even start to 'Photoshop' names on the pics sometimes

don't even get me started on the reels, although i was thinning them out a bit i now have found a liking for ambidex matches and their derivatives and it takes very little to get them and the others all out, I NEED A ROOM :beg:
