Not sure what it consists of but on Radio 4 Extra at 1:30 pm on Friday 10th May there is "The shape of things, BB remembered"
It is also repeated at 8:30 pm.

Must be worth listening to

Kate Best looks back at the life and work of 'BB' - the pen-name of the writer and illustrator Denys Wakins-Pitchford. Best known for his children's books which include a much-loved classic, The Little Grey Men, BB also wrote prolifically about the countryside, documenting the wildlife which was his lifelong obsession.

Kate visits some of his Northamptonshire haunts and talks to those who knew him - and fans including Ian McMillan and Philip Ardagh explain his lasting appeal. With readings by Sir Derek Jacobi.

It sounds excellent, will make a note to listen.

Indeed. Original aired in 2010 and therefore not availible on iPlayer. Such a shame.

Ah yes! Still, I spent an absorbing 30mins. listening to a Len Deighton and then Mrs. Marples before giving up

No probs Dok & Hovis for the info, at some point in the future it may reappear like those old Pathe news reels !
