Rod dating

Hi chaps, does anyone know if it's possible to date a Milwards rod from the serial no. inscribed on the butt section please ie 7533 ?
I don't think anyone has come up with a translation yet. The ones shared in www.traditionalfisherman.com/viewtopic. ... 23&t=21166 seem to be all over the place.
