I was watching it! Only a select few bid over £100 - 5 in fact. I think I have only seen one prior to this on ebay - so an unusual/rare rod.

I too followed that auction, although it was far beyond my budget, just to see what it would fetch. It looked like a very nice and rather rare rod that someone will thoroughly enjoy. Was it anyone on the forum?

Yep a rare rod ,only made for about 3 years.I even had a bid on it.

I got mine from the bowels of eBay about 3 years ago for £26 wonderful rod with a great action beautifully restored by our very own Wal one of the truly great cane rods.
