Found this wonderful description for collecting wasp grubs in an old book published in 1948 that I recently won....it has made me smile on this damp evening

I didn't even think of using them for fishing today. I got rid of a nest out of the shed yesterday.
Good advice there though Robbi. What was the book title?

Thanks Robbi, I have a box of books here I bought from a book shop owner on ebay who was shutting down. I'll have to have a scan through them and see if I have it.

Used wasp grub myself very good bait for chub and other fish as well.

So how do you use them? hair rigged? Popped up? On a stiff rig?
