On the outskirts of Desmond

I must admit the weather forecasts were putting me off the opportunity for a river trip on Sunday . But a check of the EA river levels showed all as normal down here in Sussex ( Apart from the wind and rain ! ) , but spare a thought for those in the teeth of Desmond .

Jeff Smith and I sallied forth in the good ship " Finatic " and we were soon trying for a fish . The Hardy / Gildex combination still works well and

But even better when the cane is put to the limit !

Great result! I think that's the first time I've seen a multiplier with cane.. ..unfortunately I've been in the eye if Desmond but have managed to stay safe....
