The red one with the drawing is 1959

The blue perch on is 1951.

My catalogue like the one top left clearly refers to being 1939/40 on page 4. Looking at the contents I would consider that it comes from that earlier period.
I could be wrong, my wife said I was once!

I've told the seller twice what year it was ( 1965) but he refuses to ammend his '1950's' description.

Many sales, but just look at his replies to negative feedback!

Have you seen my comments on the '1950' catalogue & do you agree with me that it is actually 1939/40?

Hi Bob, I have an image of the same green book with red binding, and it is titled as 1950. However:

I do have a list which shows there WAS a 39/40 book and the list does state that the proof of age is indeed on Page 4 !


If you can upload a picture of the cover and page 4 you might have just helped a lot of folk!



However, all the pre-War books around that period are the same in appearance, only the colour varying, and that green/red book looks much later.......
