Just before I shut the computer down for today, here is the Frensham Small Pond ‘Double Row’ I mentioned earlier. A breathtaking fish that I never got near on my time at the water. Though it was the second fish I saw when Jan Wenczka, Terry Gleb and myself started on the venue at the start of the 1983 season. Jan caught it late in afternoon on 17th June - it’s weight then was 25lb. This carp somehow survived the tragic fish kill in winter of 1986/7 and went on to live to see its 60th year.

Hold your breath!

A fish like that on cane would surely be the fish of a lifetime. Outsdanding!
