On this day in 1905 Denys Watkins-Pitchford (BB) was born, a toast and a chapter from one of his books is called for tonight. :cheers:

It's the 'Old Copper Mine' that does it for me, I have booked an hour to myself to read it again (for the umpteenth time) with a glass of good quality red. In memory of a real gentleman, thank you for your memories Sir :Hat:

Have read Little Grey Men, Down the Bright Stream, Brendon Chase and The Forest of Bolan Light Railway over the last few months so unless anybody can suggest another fantastic tale by the great man I'll revert to one of his fishing books for this evening :cheers:

I do enjoy be quiet and go a angling, wood pool and the whopper 3 great books and quick to read
