Two former carp record holders.....

Post by Skeff »

And a really nice guy called Gary who bid £500 for charity to fish Ashmead for a couple of nights..... He was rather taken aback when he met the other two anglers with whom he shared the lake on Monday.... Image .

Fantastic reward for a very generous gesture!
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Couple of n'er do wells that climbed over the gate....

It was a great day and Gary really enjoyed his visit: a very generous guy and it's good to see that there are still people out there who think of others and who are happy to contribute to a good cause. :Thumb:

Rudd. Big, golden, ruby-finned rudd..... But we did see some carp and Chris came close to catching one.
