Bank holiday bored protective reel bag

Post by Robbi »

Well, the weathers not too good and I'm under strict instructions not to disappear today so I hid in the garage.

I wanted to make a reel bag with a difference, not just the thin leather pokey bag type but one with a bit of protection.

Delving into the scrap box I came up with some leather offcuts and a piece of faux sheepskin, an hour later and I have this :) great protection from knocks and bumps :)

It'll take any 4 1/2" centre pin in comfort, it'll even take my new Abu closed face reel.

As always, your comments are welcome. :)

Robbi

Lovely that Robbi, and as you intended, plenty of protection too.

Very nice Robbi, amazing what you can do with "scraps"
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

That looks ideal. I like it very much.
Well done.
