chapmans 500
Hi guys anybody out there have an original bung for the cork handle to complete my rod - let me know how much - cheque to follow all the best Steve

When I passed my 550 over to Chapmans to restore albeit in the late 1980's both stoppers were missing and Chapmans provided new stoppers which were not the usual wood and cork type but were in fact made from some sort of flexible plastic / rubberised material.
I would have thought it would be worth contacting Chapmans direct as they might still have some available or even be able to put you in touch with the manufacturer as I doubt these were items that Chapmans would have made themselves but of course I could be wrong on that.
