'How to Catch Them' Series
Hi,
After many years of consciously not buying any of the HTCT series, I succumbed and bought my first last week (Fixed Spool). The hesitance to start collecting titles from these series is that I know that it’s a slippery slope leading no doubt to mild madness and definitely leakage of finite funds.
This notwithstanding, and by way of inspiration, I was wondering if any TFF members have a complete set of these little books and if would be willing to post a picture of them in their entirety?
I hesitate to ask, but those with a full set, how much did you conservatively pay in toto?
Best wishes,
Mark

Re: 'How to Catch Them' Series
Mark, I have a set but they would not be easy to photograph except sat on a shelf where you wouldn't see them properly.
Fortunately I collected them before they greatly increased in price. Prices vary greatly dependent on edition, condition, dust wrapper and how many were printed. Last time I checked about 7 were rare and expensive.
This is a list of the series, the dates being that of the first edition. The number of editions and reprints varied.
Regards,
Phil

Phil, thanks for submitting the full list, I'm sure this will be helpful for all budding collectors of the series

stillness brooded over the place and I felt the strange and sinister atmosphere which, so the story goes,
has been the cause of several suicides.’

I spent ages putting in spaces and lining everything up and when you post it the extra spaces disappear.

Dear Phil,
Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to post the list. I appreciate it must have taken some time to do
On a general note which ones would you say are the rarest/most desirable? Peter Stone's 'Specimen Fish'??
Best wishes,
Mark
