Another example of craftsmanship from a member of the TFF. A delight to read and see the results. Thank you WM for posting. A coffee and a TFF review to start the morning......

Beautiful work WM+. Lovely boring bar....and even that old bit of 2 be 4 was interesting. :Hahaha:

Who'd have thought the hides would still be OK....amazing! I get in the bath for 20 minutes and come out like a big white prune.........

Well, at long last the Number 2 & 3 nests are completed!

Last time, the wooden spreader block, made from the timbers of the Metta Catharina was left to soak for a week in Deks Olje D1. This was then allowed to dry out and lightly polished.
Look at the difference!

As you see, the little pressure plate has been pressed in and the net is ready to go. This is Net No.2, the first one being the one with 30" greenheart arms. No.2 has no handle yet, only a protective stub. The handle is to be made by it's new owner, Mr.Paul Cook..
Net No.3 still has the black nylon spreader block, but this will be replaced with another made from Metta Catharina timber.

My task is now done and so here are all three nets together..for the first and last time!
Hope you like them..
