Well after reading the glowing reviews from many of you gentlemen I have dug deep and forked out £2.67 for a copy. A good winters read I am hoping.

Cracking book and well deserved reviews.

Following the reviews by you chaps I purchased a copy and must say that it was a great read :Thumb: I am now starting to read another recommended read that I purchased after reading reviews on this forum. It is 'For all those left behind' and first impressions are that I will enjoy it immensely. Thanks for pointing me in the direction of these fine books.

I've just read a review of the book and decided to buy a copy.

Sounds worth a read.

This arrived today. I thought I'd have a read of the first page to see whether or not I'd get into it. Four pages later I can't put it down and had to make myself because I had things to do.

Really looking forward to reading it properly now. :Thumb:

I've just finished reading Blood Knots & I for what's its worth, I enjoyed it.

I wouldn't class this book as a fishing book, it's more of an autobiography that includes some fishing.
Lots of history & insight into 1960's public school life that seems a world away.

I wouldn't say it was a classic but I'm glad I read it.
