Yes, there were loads in the Thames around there, known to my group of fishing mates as snotties. I've never caught them anywhere else.

That lovely Gent Sussex Micky has sent me a set of crow quill Avons for Wally gonks, now all I need to do is hold my end of the bargain and post a picture of a good sized Gonk against one of them.
I hope to use one on the Jolly on Saturday if the river calms down a bit
