Tench do become active around now probably due to the lengthening of daylight hours, its just that we tend not to fish for them in February. Well done though MD and I bet your little smiley faces looked great as they climbed toward the butt ring :Thumb:

Dad liked them so much he's asked me to make him a pair for his 50th. Only one cork left though so I've had to open a bottle of champagne. Its a hard life.

Excellent. A nice weighted bobbin ! Like that a lot. Oh - and the book brings back a great memory !
