Re: Hunter
Looking good Lee!
I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

Re: Hunter
Very nice. I'm just starting to restore my third Hunter now i have a new tip and have just fitted the new ferrules, as the originals had been 'folded' rather than taken apart, making the rod resemble the letter 'Z' when assembled. It's an earlier version than the 'SP' with the intermediate whippings and rubber button. just waiting for the thread to arrive to start building, incidentally what colour code is that on yours?

Re: Hunter
Both the Hunter and the new 500 will be out on Thursday, just hope the tench are feeding.
Both the rods have had copper whipping added to the butt ring and a new Chapman badge to the 500
Lee.

Re: Hunter
That looks like a cracking rod, nice work, just like the others, really admire the Chapmans dark cane; just finishing a really old 550 and the cane still looks in top condition, will see though when it goes into battle !!
