I don't remember ever seeing those but I did see a guy deadbaiting for pike last week who was using bobbins made from those yakult style yoghurt pots with screw tops. Exactly the same principle as he was weighting them with stones as required too. A bit big for my liking but I thought at the time what a good idea that was. :Hat:

Foil was standard at Hainault in the 70s. Brushing off the crumbs after unwrapping the sandwiches before replacing the indicator was crucial!

An old friend of mine uses Jif lemons as his pike drop-arm bobbins! :Chuckle:

The little plastic containers in Kinder Eggs make some very usable drop-offs and Sea floats. Jiffs?, well that's just silly. :Chuckle:

When I got this reel many years ago it was given to me without any labels so I'm not really sure I would love to find out !!
