we were amongst the first onto W Warwick- 200 + carp doubles stocked totally unfished. Suddenly I realised what being Gibbinson or Hutchinson was like. I had a proper ticket but made the totally stupid choice of crossing 6 train lines to save a one mile walk- crazy , glad to be typing this

I wonder if the feed pipe came from KG to Lockwood?
after I had realised how dangerous crossing the railway was, I used the correct route to the Warwick. In the entrance and a mile along the narrow footpath of a preceding reservoir. The downside was the 50 Canada goose nests. There was a 6 inch gap between falling down the steep bank into the water and avoiding the gander beak and full on charge.
I wouldnt walk so close to nesting birds now- but you only need to look at any London water photo now- and see that with 100s of Canadas floating- they were not affected
