Welcome to the forum Matt. The Chapman 500 is arguably one of the best all round rods you could own. There are quite a few of us who are very proud owners of our 500's!

Barbel seeker, I was quite taken aback at first with that generous offer but so glad I took it up.
Not only have I gained a lovely cane rod but also a kind of fishing pen friend! We live at opposite ends of the country but plan to meet up sometime,I would like to shake his hand and thank him personally.
Thanks to all for your warm welcome.
Matt

I've been trying to post a couple of pictures but I keep getting a message saying file too large,it's only a photo taken with a mobile phone so I'm surprised at that.
Anyone know how to get round that?
Cheers in advance, Matt

Crop the image very slightly and you'll probably find it'll work - it's works for me anyway.

Cheers

Thanks Steve, I just tried cropping it slightly but still no joy. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using an iPad so whether that has any bearing on it I don't know.
