Here it is chaps, I will let the photo’s do the talking, then I will give you some specifications :Thumb:

Leszek is going to add photo’s of the build, but the specifications are;

3 3/4” narrow, shallow solid core drum with outer ventilation holes.

Dark wooden back to almost look black (sorry I forgot what wood it is). I wanted a small minimalist spine to not detract from the beautiful wood.

Plain copy cat handles of the Hardy conquest design, so the line does not catch, plain yes but the design in my opinion is the best, so why change!

Leszek attached a label stating
Face run out 0.0006”
Periphery T.I.R 0.0006”
I’m not sure what it really means apart from it is precision engineering :Hat:

My Christmas break at my mums started badly( I won’t bore you) but Leszek has just made it better, thank you so much :Hat:

Happy Christmas Paul!

The backplate is made from Turkish walnut with rosewood inlay on the outside, with gunmetal and brass metalwork.

TiR means 'Total indicated reading', the total run-out as shown on a dial test indicator. In your case, it's about as good as it is possible to get!

It is absolutely wonderful. Congratulations to you Paul for being the proud owner of this fine reel. How you held off opening it until today I will never know..

Well done to Leszek for creating another outstanding piece of engineering art. :clap: :clap:
