I thought it was a great programme in the sense that the content was excellent, Ray Mears was very good and of course the Wye is just stunning.

One criticism though, it was way too short. It needed three or four programmes to do it justice as it just skipped past huge and stunning parts of the river and massive amounts of wildlife just not included. It just needed to slow down a bit.

But a big thumbs up and worth a watch.

Good program,They have been showing a few of his old programs on the travel channel lately I watched a cracker where he was in southern Sweden with his canoe on a giant lake, it looked like a fishermans paradise.
