That being the case the idea is even better from his perspective given that he doesn't expend any time in making them and takes at least £700 per reel in profit. Equally on that basis as a forum we could decide to make a TFF replica Speedia and presumably if we were able to order a batch of 25 we could get them made for about 1/3 of the price of one that 'came in a box with a lot of other tackle and that might be restored'. :fish:

So do we know who made the Barder reel, was it the Kingpin people? And while we're at it, since they are engineers, they could make us a load of parts for the Walker net.

It was indeed they. I wonder if they kept the cnc cards...oh, it'll be a digital file now won't it? :Confused:

Yes, digital and protected by copyright. But give them a Speedia and they could copy it easily to finer tolerances.
