The landing net finally arrived today chaps, my photos do not do it justice.

Between Christmas and the New Year we shall spend a few days by the banks of the River Soar together and just maybe, a five pound chub will adorn the net.

Absolutely exquisite ! I can see the 5lb Chub in it now. Very nice net.

Maybe next time Shaun for the five pounder, but I did manage to Christen the net with a little two pounder.

The river was up about 3ft and really flowing through, hopefully by the end of the week it will have dropped somewhat.

Took my new net today for it's second outing and still haven't got it wet yet. Not particularly superstitious but I'm starting to wonder... :Confused:
